"Thanks again for your wonderful site. As you said, I beat my wifes ticket when she dropped off our daughter and had the warrior scan her registration as she pulled away from the No Standing School Days 7-4 PM zone. If you recall, he had the wrong vehicle type and color, plus he wrote that the sign was No Standing Anytime (not school days). The ticket was dismissed for the incorrect sign (though vehicle type would have also worked).

We are overjoyed that the over zealous traffic agent couldn't read the sign right (he was too focused in harassing all the moms taking their kids to school and leaving their cars for under 2 minutes, not double parking nor blocking any traffic).

Hi Larry!

"I'm such a fan of your site! Here's a little background. There was a parking spot in queens, where there were no parking signs on one side of the street. Needless to say, I parked there for weeks on end. In the week of Christmas 2011, I come back to my car to find newly installed signs, and 2 shiny orange envelopes on my car. First thing I do is call 311 to get a report of when the sign was installed. I wait the 14 days for a response, NONE. I call back, they resubmit it. I wait another 7 days, still no response from the Dept of Transportation. I find your website, check the place of occurrence on both tickets, BOTH WRONG!! To this day, I STILL have not gotten a response, but it doesn't matter anymore, because I've already fought both tickets and had them BOTH dismissed!! THANKS LARRY!!!!"
